Roses At Long Stems
Roses are a timeless and classic gift for loved ones and some times color can mean everything. In this article I’m going to cover the classic meanings of a roses color and some of our favorite varieties. Over the years the best rose variety is always shifting with some favorite varieties of the past fading away as new strains take their place.
Red Roses
Red roses are the classic symbol of love and admiration. You can’t go wrong with red roses for your sweat heart. Our favorite red rose variety is Freedom, this rose is the classic scarlet red, tall and elegant. Another favorite is Black Baccara, this dark red rose has beautiful velvety petals.
Lavender Roses
Lavender roses symbolize love at first sight, a unique love of adoration and fascination. Moody Blues is our favorite lavender roses, not only is this a beautiful and tall rose but it is one of the most fragrant varieties outside of the coveted garden rose varieties.
Yellow Roses
Yellow roses symbolize friendship and care. Sending yellow roses to a friend is a great way to show your care and a warmth toward them. Our favorite yellow rose variety is Brighton, this bright yellow rose is exceptionally tall and the brightest shade of yellow, just like the warm summer sun!
White Roses
White roses are unique in that they symbolize two different emotions, they can be sent as a remembrance or as a symbol of new beginnings. Traditionally seen at weddings and during funerals/memorial ceremonies. Some of our favorite white roses are Vendela, Playa Blanca, and Mondial.
Peach Roses
Peach roses are know to show thanks, loyalty, and gratitude. Our favorite peach rose variety is Coral Reef, it has such a warm peach color along with being tall and having a large head size.
Orange Roses
Orange Roses represent passion, what ever you are feeling, over flowing with enthusiasm, fascination, and pride. Our favorite orange rose is Free Spirit, this wild rose is a favorite here at Long Stems. It has a subtle fragrance as well as having hints of pink and a large head size.
Pink Roses
Pink roses are a token of admiration and appreciation, give them to a special person in your life to show your thoughtful love. Our favorite pink roses are Pink Floyd and Country Blues!
